On arrival at Lusaka airport, you will be met by a representative who will guide you towards your charter flight to Lufupa Airstrip in the Kafue National Park and Musekese. Settle in and enjoy the river coming alive with wildlife, followed by a full day of hands-on conservation activities (see next page).

Musekese is a small tented camp on the Kafue River with six tents, offering safari and conservation activities and a focus on close wildlife encounters.

Game drives, hides, boat safaris, birdwatching, fishing, conservation experience.

After breakfast, set off on a scenic game drive transfer from Musekese Camp to Ntemwa-Busanga, travelling through rich wildlife areas. As you arrive in the heart of the Busanga Plains, the scenery opens into vast grasslands teeming with lechwe, buffalo, and birdlife. Settle into camp before heading out on your first game drive across this iconic wilderness, where lions, elephants, and roan antelope roam.

Ntemwa-Busanga offers elegant tented suites, each designed for comfort and style, with sweeping views of the Busanga Plains, a mecca for game viewing.

After you final morning game drive, you will board your charter flight to Lusaka concluding your safari.

For guests seeking more than wildlife, this full-day conservation experience at Musekese offers a behind-the-scenes look at protecting the Musekese-Lumbeya ecosystem.

Join researchers in the field, track wildlife, monitor camera traps, and learn about anti-poaching and conservation efforts in Kafue.

Morning research game drive with Musekese Conservation researchers, learning telemetry techniques, search and encounter data collection.

9hrs – 11hrs
A visit to the Kamasot Hide for wildlife observation and a camera trap check before onwards to the MCB Research Centre.

11hrs – 14hrs
Lunch at the MCB Rapids and Beach followed by a walk through of the base camp and research and anti-poaching presentation/ Q&A.

15.30hrs – 19hrs
Camera trap setting, checking and other research and encounter techniques on a research game drive from MCB back to camp.

20hrs Onwards
A hosted dinner and debrief with the MC Team.

From Ntemwa-Busanga, you will fly down to Livingstone where your driver will meet you for your transfer to Mukwa River Lodge. Spend four days exploring Livingstone’s highlights: Visit the Victoria Falls, enjoy river cruises and sunset boat safaris directly from the lodge. Between adventures, relax at the lodge and unwind in your suite.

Following breakfast, you’ll be met by your driver for a seamless transfer to Livingstone Airport, where you’ll continue your onward journey.
